MONTEC has developed a compliance of the commercial components verification system, to Directive 2011/65 / EU commonly called RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive RoHS).

using a portable analyzer, and thanks to a perfect combination of hardware and software, MONTEC is able to determine simultaneously both the numeric value and the percentage of the analytical range of more than 25 elements present in the material, ensuring a perfect quality control on the used materials and, tehrefore, of the final product.

Substances with restrictions on use under Article 4, paragraph 1, and maximum concentration values tolerated by weight in homogeneous materials, are the following:

  1. Lead (0.1% on copper alloys up to 21 July 2016 there is an exemption of up to 4% by weight)
  2. Mercury (0.1%)
  3. Cadmium (0.01%)
  4. Hexavalent Chromium – Chromium VI (0.1%)
  5. Polychlorinated biphenyls – PBB (0.1%)
  6. Polybrominated diphenyl ethers – PBDEs (0.1%)
